Children took part in their second trip of Year 2 with a visit to Cosford Air Museum. They enjoyed seeing the amazing planes that they have been learning about including the Spitfire, Messerschmitt and Miles Magister. Everyone had a wonderful day and children can now say they have sat in the cockpit of a fighter jet!

In the week beginning 22nd September Year 2 took part in their annual residential visit to Kingswood. We were blessed with wonderful weather and everyone had a brilliant time, taking part in outdoor activities, meeting lots of animals and even visiting Kingswood’s very own Anderson Shelter. Lots of the children have grown in confidence with some asking if there is a residential visit every year!

Year 4 went to the Lunt Roman Fort for our Roman topic. We went through the gates to discover the battle arena where we learnt to fight like a Roman solider. We started by learning how to hold a sword correctly and fight using the shield. Then children were separated into 4 groups so they could have a group battle and protect their teacher.
