As part of their writing lessons, some pupils from Year 6 took part in a GD Writing Workshop. The Year 6 pupils had to write a short story about a picture that they had chosen from a selection that they had been given.  The pictures were a collection of different animals in their natural habitat. Congratulations to the children who take part in weekly Park Run sessions at various locations around the West Midlands. Well done to Kevin, Martin, Brileigh, Brielle, Stallonjit and Adam who all spend part of their Sunday mornings keeping fit and enjoying competing against others. Keep up the hard work!

During the Autumn Term ten of our year 5 and 6 children took part in the Primary Maths Challenge. This challenge is a fun, nationwide mathematical contest for primary school pupils aged 9–11 (Years 5 and 6). All ten of our children performed brilliantly and at the time of writing the children are waiting to see whether any of them qualify for the final round in February. Good Luck everyone!
