Year 1 Phonics Workshop
Parents were invited to the year 1 phonics workshop. They were given information all about the Phonics Screening Check. They looked at how RML is taught in school and enjoyed playing some phonics games with their child. The children had a lovely time showing their grown up how RML is taught and their amazing phonic skills.

Year 3 Stone Age Outcome
Last Thursday, our Year 3 pupils hosted an exciting “Outcome Afternoon” for Year 2, transporting them back to the Stone Age. The afternoon was packed with hands-on activities: making clay pots, creating cave art, building Stonehenge from LEGO, and even a mammoth-hunting game using foam javelins! P.T.A Interviews
The school council had a very important role to play on Friday 14th November as they were involved in interviewing parents who were interested in becoming members of the P.T.A. The School Council devised the questions, formed interview panels and followed through the interview process. Parents and School Council then chatted informally about the role over coffee, juice, hot chocolate and biscuits!

Year 2 - Family Afternoon
In November, we enjoyed a wonderful afternoon with some of our family members. We invited them into school to hear us sing “it’s a long way to Tipperary” and to take a look at all of our beautiful artwork we have created during the term as part of our topic “World War Two”. We displayed our clay poppies, propaganda posters, Remembrance Day scenes and gas masks which we have been creating during our creative and topic lessons. Firefighters Visit Nursery and Terrific for Twos
We were thrilled to welcome our local firefighters to Nursery and Terrific for Twos! The children had an amazing time exploring the fire engine, sitting in the back seats, and even getting a turn to spray the hose. It was a fantastic, hands-on experience that gave everyone a fun insight into the important work firefighters do every day. A big thank you to our brave visitors for making the day so memorable.

Interactive Exhibition
As part of the Year 6 topic 'Natural Disasters', the Year 6 pupils created an interactive exhibition to raise funds for a local charity. Work from throughout the term was put on display and the visitors had chance to create disaster poems, bookmarks and have a photo in front of a natural disaster!

The boys football team opened their season with a tough home defeat to St Stephens going down 1-6.

Halloween - October 2025
Our first Halloween event was held in October 2025 where we provided an opportunity and a safe place for all of our children to Trick or Treat. We were amazed with the efforts made by all to dress up for the non-uniform day, as well as parents that joined in the fun and dressed up for the evening event.

Year 6 Visit to Bewdley
As part of the Year 6 Natural Disasters topic, the Year 6 children visited Bewdley to learn all about how the town has adapted to deal with flooding from The River Severn. They took part in a learning walk along the river path to learn how the flood defences for the town operate and the history of flooding in the town. The children also learned about the historic tradition of rope-making in Bewdley and essential life-saving skills for along the riverside!

Year 2 trip to Cosford Air Museum
Children took part in their second trip of Year 2 with a visit to Cosford Air Museum. They enjoyed seeing the amazing planes that they have been learning about including the Spitfire, Messerschmitt and Miles Magister. Everyone had a wonderful day and children can now say they have sat in the cockpit of a fighter jet!
