Year 6 GD Writing Workshop

As part of their writing lessons, some pupils from Year 6 took part in a GD Writing Workshop. The Year 6 pupils had to write a short story about a picture that they had chosen from a selection that they had been given.  The pictures were a collection of different animals in their natural habitat. To begin the session, the pupils had a zoom call with other schools in Wolverhampton. The call allowed the pupils to begin writing their own narrative for the pictures. After the session the pupils discussed their story and worked to improve their writing and vocabulary. The Year 6 pupils used dictionaries and thesauruses to enhance their writing and finally typed their incredible writing up for display!
