Nursery - Letters to Santa

Children throughout EYFS have enjoyed a magical festive event with their parents! Everyone gathered to listen to a special letter read aloud from Santa himself, which filled the room with excitement! The children then worked with their parents to create their own letters to post to Santa. They cut pictures out of catalogues, labelled their pictures and made sure they wrote their names on. It was important that Santa knew who their letter was from! Once the letters were ready

Firefighters Visit Nursery and Terrific for Twos

We were thrilled to welcome our local firefighters to Nursery and Terrific for Twos! The children had an amazing time exploring the fire engine, sitting in the back seats, and even getting a turn to spray the hose. It was a fantastic, hands-on experience that gave everyone a fun insight into the important work firefighters do every day. A big thank you to our brave visitors for making the day so memorable.

Early Years Sunflower Art Project

Children throughout our Early Years (aged 2-5 years), are currently taking part in their very own Sunflower Project. They have been using their senses to explore real sunflowers and have also planted some sunflower seeds to care for and grow at home. As part of our sunflower project, we looked at the famous artwork ‘Sunflowers’ by Vincent Van Gogh. This inspired the children to create their own sunflower art using a range of media - such as paint, collage and crayons. They

T4Ts and Nursery Farm on Wheels

The children (and staff) were very excited to welcome Stella the Farmer from Farm on Wheels to school. Stella bought some of her farm animals in her trailer for the children to meet. There was Racket the donkey, Hugo the rabbit, Kevin and Timmy the lambs, some hens and ducks. The children enjoyed feeding, petting and walking the animals. The children learnt lots about the different animals and imitated the animal sounds they heard!
