Remembrance
For Remembrance Day we created paintings of poppy fields, individual poppies, a wreath and took part in some large scale mark making to pay our respects and remember our Armed Forces personnel.

Outdoor Wednesdays
Children in Terrific for Twos and Nursery love Outdoor Wednesdays! We put on our waterproofs and explore the great outdoors. Outdoor learning boosts confidence, social skills, communication, physical skills, knowledge and understanding. It increases children’s self-esteem, self-confidence, and ability to work cooperatively through hands-on learning experiences in our Forest School and outdoor learning environment.

Wroxeter Roman City
We visited the remains of the Roman City of Wroxeter. we were able to explore the bath houses and learn about how the Romans kept clean and healthy and why this was so important to them. We acted as if we were Romans visiting the baths, learning that we needed to pay someone to watch our clothes and prevent them from being stolen. Kingswood Residential
Year 2 had a fabulous time at Kingswood this year but we certainly needed our wellies!. On our first day we braved the rain and enjoyed exploring on our treasure trail, being tested by a rope trail and going into a real life Anderson Shelter built and used during World War 2. Sir David Attenborough's Birthday
Nursery launched their summer topic 'Animal Kingdoms' by learning about Sir David Attenborough. They found out that his birthday is on 8th May and decided to make him a birthday card, which was posted to him. The children and staff were elated to receive a reply hand written by David Attenborough himself.

Stone-Age Experience at The Kingswood Trust
Year 3 visited the Kingswood Trust to take part in a Stone Age Experience. During the day we built shelters from branches and ferns like Stone Age people would have done when they were hunting for food. We saw how to make a fire. We stripped thin branches of willow so they were clean and twisted bread dough onto them. We cooked our bread over the fire. Some of us were brave enough to eat our bread. Kingswood Residential
In the first few weeks of the term children in Year 2 went on an amazing visit to Kingswood. We all had a brilliant time and took part in lots of activities.
