Year 4 Visit to a Roman Fort

Year 4 visited Lunt fort in Coventry. With a Roman soldier as our guide, we examined ancient artefacts, dressed up as Roman soldiers and trained to fight in an arena with our swords and shields. We learned lots about the life of Roman soldiers in forts in Britain and how they defeated the Celts.
