Year 4 - British Science Week & Science Day

For British Science Week Year 4 celebrated by having visitors in to deliver an Elastic Racers workshop. Children had to create a car and move it as far as possible using an elastic band. We had lots of fun whilst learning about forces.

Then we dressed up as different types of scientists for Science Day. Precious things had been stolen from our classrooms and we had to use science to figure out who it was. We started by testing the ink in pens from teachers around the school compared to the ransom note. Finally, we took fingerprints from suspects to work out who the thief was.
