Year 2 - India

As part of their topic comparing the UK to India, Year 2 were delighted to welcome a special visitor, Sohan Kailey, a Bhangra dancer and storyteller, into school. Sohan taught the children how to dance in a lively Bollywood style and gave them the chance to dress in traditional Indian clothing, bringing their learning to life.

Throughout the day, they learnt about the diverse landscapes of India and learnt all about Indian cuisine, leaving everyone’s mouths watering! The children had a wonderful time immersing themselves in the culture and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

It was a fantastic way to make their learning even more engaging and memorable!
