On Tuesday 1st July, our school council arranged for the BBC to come into school and film us talking about the fact that we have not had a Lollipop person to help us cross the road for nearly a year now.  We think this is a very dangerous situation and want something done as soon as possible.  During the afternoon, the BBC filmed the school council discussing the matter and then showing the reporter the problem at the top of Walter Road. They interviewed parents, Mr Neal, and also our headteacher, Mrs Richards, who shared their concerns about the dangers of Wilkinson Avenue.  We very much hope that we will have a Lollipop person or a zebra crossing installed very soon.
