Borcherds Shield Final - April 2024
Pictured above are the 2023 Borcherd Shield Champions who qualified for the final again in April 2024. Unfortunately another win was not to be this year but our team still represented our school with tremendous enthusiasm and with pride and respect. Congratulations go to all members of the team who finished in 7th place out of an original 60 plus entrants.
Each year we send a team of our best mathematicians to compete in The Borcherds Shield, a maths competition held by King Edward's School, Birmingham.
Pictured below are the star pupils who have proudly represented our school in the competition over the past 5 years.
2020 saw us take part in a ‘virtual’ version of the competition. Four of our Year 4 children (pictured above) took part in The Borcherds Shield on Friday 9th October where they finished in second place.
